Pediatrician Danielle Parrott, MD, strives every day to provide exceptional, compassionate and nurturing care to her young patients. Interested in medicine from a young age, Dr. Parrott considers it a gift to be able to support a child’s health and well-being.

Dr. Parrott attended medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her residency at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center in Jacksonville.

She chose to work at Phoenix Children’s because of the hospital’s philosophy of providing compassionate, high-quality, family-centered care, which is what she wants to provide for her patients.

“I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families and seeing my patients grow from birth to young adults,” Dr. Parrott says.

In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, gardening and spending time with her husband and daughters.

Wendy Tuccille, MD

Dr. Tuccille earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She completed her residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.

Being part of a team that strives for excellence in care is important to Dr. Tuccille. It's why she chose Phoenix Children's, one of the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the U.S. Her patients and their families also value the level of care she provides, consistently voting her among the best pediatricians in the Verde Valley.

She works closely with parents to provide the best care possible. "Parents are a vital part of care," she says.

In her free time, Dr. Tuccille enjoys exercise, reading and gardening.

Pediatrician Kathryn (Kate) Hausotter, DO, grew up in Oregon's Willamette Valley. She stayed in the area for medical school, graduating from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest.

Dr. Hausotter found a new place to call home when she came to Phoenix Children's for her residency. "I ended up loving all Arizona has to offer!" Dr. Hausotter says. Her training allowed her to learn from patients and see Phoenix Children's culture of care at work. "I'm thrilled to continue working within the Phoenix Children's family," Dr. Hausotter says.

Although she has a soft spot for newborn care and early childhood development, Dr. Hausotter enjoys caring for children at every age and stage. In addition, she's trained in and practices hands-on osteopathic manipulative treatment whenever possible.

When she's not working, Dr. Hausotter loves hiking, exercising and exploring Arizona. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and trying new restaurants.
