Our pediatric pulmonologists team up with other specialty providers in multidisciplinary clinics to ensure your child receives the care they need, in one convenient location.

Multidisciplinary Programs and Clinics

  • Aerodigestive Clinic: This clinic cares for children with complex conditions related to swallowing, breathing and feeding. The care team includes doctors who specialize in pulmonology; gastrointestinal medicine; and ear, nose and throat conditions.
  • Asthma Program: Physicians and advanced practice providers specializing in pulmonology and allergy and immunology help patients manage their asthma. The program’s Breathmobile travels to schools and clinics to provide additional support for underserved children and families dealing with asthma.
  • Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) Program: The BPD Program at Phoenix Children’s is the first of its kind in the Southwest. Our team, led by a pulmonologist and neonatologist, provides the care, support and resources babies and their families need.
  • Sleep Medicine Program: This program brings together a pulmonologist, neurologist and sleep medicine specialist to treat sleep disorders in kids. It’s the only pediatric sleep program in the Southwest accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
  • Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program: More than 500 patients, from infants to older adults, depend on our CF Program for comprehensive care and the latest therapies.
  • Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) Program: Pulmonologists work with other experienced specialists to care for children whose lungs have been affected by CDH.
  • Complicated Cocci Clinic: Pulmonologist and Infectious Disease doctors team together to care for this disease prevalent in the Arizona.
  • Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Clinic: Based in the hospital’s Neuromuscular Program, this clinic offers multidisciplinary care from a pediatric neurologist, cardiologist and pulmonologist in one convenient location.
  • Trach and Airway Clinic: Our caring, experienced team provides care for children who are dependent on technology for breathing. These technologies can include tracheostomy tubes, mechanical ventilators and BiPAP machines, among others.
