Why Us?

Pulmonology Department

Our team dedicated to patient-centered care consisting of:

  • Pediatric pulmonologists
  • Certified pediatric nurse practitioners
  • Specialized nurses
  • Specialized medical assistants
  • Respiratory therapists
  • Social workers
  • Nutritionists

We know that time is of the essence when it comes to lab results. Our on-site pediatric respiratory lab provides responsive testing for pulmonary patients, while the outpatient respiratory lab provides tests and services for patients in outpatient specialty clinics.

    Nationally known care

The Cystic Fibrosis Center at Phoenix Children's was the first program in Arizona accredited by the national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. What does this mean? Not only do our physicians bring compassionate care to each patient, but they also rank among the top in the country.

    Building healthier communities

The Breathmobile is a mobile asthma clinic helping diagnose and treat childhood asthma in Phoenix's inner city. The clinic’s success has been huge: reports indicate a 70% drop in emergency room visits due to asthma and a 73% drop in asthma-related hospital stays.
