Patient Stories

Our patients are like family to us. After they make great strides in our rehabilitation program, it's often time to start a new and sometimes scary journey in the world outside our facility. 

Each year we host our own family rehab reunion to bring our nearest and dearest back together for support. Our reunions are a fun way to connect with our patients and their families to make sure they continue to have the resources they need to be an active part of the community. 

"The children and families who attend our inpatient rehab reunion have been a part of the rehab family at some point in their recovery. The annual event is a wonderful opportunity for doctors, nurses and therapy staff to reconnect with former patients and to help families connect with a wide range of community resources," says Lisa Graybill, inpatient rehab manager at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
