Guest Services

We understand that hospitalization can be difficult and confusing. That's why we provide many hospitality services and amenities to make your stay more comfortable.

Each patient room has a television, with age-appropriate programming on 12 channels, including Spanish stations that are available 24 hours a day.

Videos may be brought from home or borrowed from The Emily Center. Child Life also offers a limited collection of movies. Please check with your nurse to borrow a movie. No PG-13 movies are allowed in patient rooms where either child is under the age of 13. The Hospital does not allow the viewing of R-rated movies at any time.

Toys and Games

Designed just for kids, playrooms offer a child-friendly atmosphere filled with arts and crafts, movies and toys. Patients have access to video game systems on mobile carts that may be moved into your child's room. Children and teens may borrow board games, craft activities, books, and other items for the playrooms to take back to their rooms.

The Child Life Zone at Phoenix Children’s is a state-of-the-art play area that provides an escape  for patients and their families from daily life in the hospital. This 3,800 square foot, procedure-free area gives our patients a safe place to forget about being in the hospital for a little while and just have fun.

The Zone is located on the first floor of the East Building, across from The Emily Center.
