We can take care of you and your baby wherever you are. From all corners of the state of Arizona and beyond, the telemedicine program at the Fetal Care Center at Phoenix Children’s brings our fetal care specialists to you and your baby, and your chosen obstetrician (OB) and delivery team.

Phoenix Children’s team of dedicated registered nurses at our Fetal Care Center will help coordinate the care you and your baby need with our pediatric specialists. This includes setting up telemedicine appointments with your entire care team.
What Is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine, simply put, is a virtual visit. It’s caring for patients remotely – when the doctor and patient are not in the same room together. And like in any in-person visit, information is shared in “real-time.” Using telemedicine, you don’t have to leave your home, drive to your doctor’s office or miss work to get to your appointment.
The Fetal Care Center uses teleconferencing software to connect your fetal care team with you on your personal device – like a computer, tablet or smart phone. Just download the Zoom application onto your device.
Most telemedicine appointments are covered by insurance. Your nurse coordinator and Phoenix Children’s Preaccess Department can work with you to determine coverage and any cost associated with the visit.
