The Children’s Neuroscience Symposium is taking place in 3 sessions from 1 - 2:30 PM on Friday, June 11, August 6, and October 22, 2021.

Stay up-to-date in assessment and management of complex neurological conditions, according to the most recent evidence-based medicine.

Lectures and case study formats will focus on providing crucial updates and utilize the most recent research combined with proven care management strategies for clinical decision-making and exercising best practices in patient care. This symposium is an invaluable source of knowledge which will allow for meaningful discussions and connections to drive better outcomes for some of the most complex pediatric neuro patients.

Hear from are some of the most respected experts in the field who will provide these crucial updates in the treatment of the complex neuro-patient and how these advances directly relate to the care received from their primary care provider.


Learning Objectives

Our goal is to improve the knowledge of primary care clinicians, so they are better equipped to provide accurate assessments and management of care, facilitate their interactions with the specialist and improve overall care to this group of patients. 

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the critical role of the primary care provider in the care and management of pediatric neurological, developmental and behavioral disorders. 
  • Understand the importance and the need for evidence-based early intervention. 
  • Identify new advances and state-of-the-art treatment modalities of complex pediatric neurological disorders.
  • Cite examples of current research findings in pediatric neurosciences and their translation to clinical care.
  • Identify common pitfalls in the treatment and intervention services for neurological, developmental and behavioral disorders.

Intended Audience

The 24th Annual Children’s Neuroscience Symposium provides an evidence-based approach, designed for the primary care provider, advanced practice provider, nursing staff, clinical research scientists and those wanting a better understanding of the presented clinical information. This event welcomes providers who recognize and value this opportunity for continuing medical education.


  • Group 1: Physicians and PhD Scientists.
  • Group 2: Advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, therapists, allied health, and research associates.
  • Group 3: Students of these professions and community members. (not eligible CME credits)

Standard Pricing

  • Group 1: $40 for all (3) Sessions or $15 per Session
  • Group 2: $20 for all (3) Sessions or $8 per Session
  • Group 3: No Cost (limited number of virtual seats available)

Virtual Seating is Subject to Availability

The cost of registration includes CME credits for this learning activity.  Net proceeds from this Symposium will go to support Barrow at Phoenix Children’s Directors Research and Educational Fund. The full fee is payable upon registration.

How late can I register?

Registration will stay open until the Symposium ends on October 22, 2021. The current online capacity is 150 registrants per session.  We expect to reach capacity for this important and timely conference.

Can I register for just 1 or 2 sessions?

Yes, but we would like to encourage you to register for all 3 session at one time as it guarantees your seat and is more cost effective.

What's the refund policy?

If you cancel your participation in this course on or before June 1st, 2021, if registered for all 3 session or 10 days prior to the session you are registered for, registration fees will be refunded, less a $5 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after October 12, 2021.
