Bethany Wisotzkey, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist specializing in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplant. Caring for critically ill children and their families, Dr. Wisotzkey has a team-building approach, blended with compassion and honesty.
With a lifelong interest in medicine, Dr. Wisotzkey says the mix of science and a desire to help people inspired her career choice. Children's natural spirit drew her to specialize in pediatric cardiology.
"Children are incredibly resilient and can go through so much, yet still remain strong," she says. Dr. Wisotzkey values the opportunity to work every day with "an amazing team of individuals" at Phoenix Children's.
When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Wisotzkey and her husband are on the move, chasing their toddler and two dogs. She enjoys being outdoors and exploring the Phoenix and Arizona area.
