Dr. Laura Wilner is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pediatric rehabilitation medicine. Dr. Laura Wilner is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pediatric rehabilitation medicine. After completing her medical school training at Rosalind Franklin University / Chicago Medical School, pediatric internship at Rush Medical College, and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University / The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation at RIC.

Dr. Wilner practiced in Indianapolis from 1991 until 2011 in both inpatient and outpatient settings including leadership of inpatient rehabilitation units. She spent her first 13 years as a staff physician and Medical Director of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at Methodist Hospital of Indiana, followed by 7 years with Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent, where she served as Medical Director of pediatric physiatry, and the St. Vincent Hospital Medical Staff Chair of Physiatry. In January 2012 she joined Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, FL as Medical Director of the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation where she was actively involved in CARF accreditation for the inpatient rehab program, development of tertiary spasticity management program, and the planning of a new PMR residency program for the Memorial Healthcare System.

In 2016, Dr. Wilner and her husband relocated to Phoenix. Dr. Wilner serves as Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation at Phoenix Children's. She is a Clinical Associate Professor through the Department of Child Health, University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix and serves as a Residency Site Rotation Director for the HonorHealth/VA PM&R residency program in Phoenix.
