About Roy Jedeikin, MD

Roy Jedeikin, MD, MBBCH, FAAP, FACC, MBA, joined Phoenix Children’s Hospital as a specialist in fetal and pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease. Prior to joining Phoenix Children’s, Dr. Jedeikin was a pediatric cardiologist for Valley Fetal and Pediatric Cardiology in Scottsdale and Arizona Pediatric Cardiology in Phoenix.

Dr. Jedeikin received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School in South Africa and completed two years of his fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario in Canada, where he also served as chief fellow. His last year of his fellowship was served at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Shortly after, Dr. Jedeikin joined the division of pediatric cardiology at the University of Virginia as an assistant professor of pediatrics. Two years later he moved to Phoenix to practice pediatric cardiology.

He is recognized as a national leader for his expertise in the field of continuous quality improvement. He worked with the American College of Cardiology to develop pediatric cardiology quality metrics for adult congenital and pediatric cardiology.

In September 2013, Dr. Jedeikin received the Outstanding Cardiologist of the Year Award from Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona Chapter. He has also been recognized as a top doctor and outstanding educator.

He is most passionate about ensuring patients and their families are at the center of receiving excellent care. One of Dr. Jedeikin’s favorite parts of being a doctor is creating wonderful, lasting relationships that are developed during many decades of caring for patients and interacting with their families.

Dr. Jedeikin holds an MBA from Arizona State University.
