Barrow at Phoenix Children’s Hosting Two Medical Education Events

Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital this week is bringing together renowned neuroscience experts for two medical conferences. The Spring Summit on Ketogenic Diet Therapies for Neurologic Disorders will be held March 11-12 and the 21st Annual Neuroscience Symposium is March 13-14.

The Spring Summit is co-sponsored with The Charlie Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides information on diet therapies for people with neurological disorders. It will feature nationally-prominent speakers, presenting topics and case studies on the use of ketogenic diet therapies. The diet is custom-designed to fit each patient and requires ongoing adjustments. Learn more about the Spring Summit. 

The 21st Annual Neuroscience Symposium is held in conjunction with the Spring Summit and the 40th Annual Melvin L. Cohen Pediatric Update 2017. The Symposium aims to enhance the practitioner’s knowledge of pediatric neurological disorders from common to complex, including presenting signs and symptoms, recommendations for specialist consultation and new treatment advances.
