Comfort & Relaxation

Guest Services

We understand that hospitalization can be difficult and confusing. That's why we provide many hospitality services and amenities to make your stay more comfortable.

    Braeden's Playground

Named after Braeden Chamblee who lost his life just nine short days after his birth, Braeden's Playground is a brightly colored 4,500 square foot outdoor play area which includes: a putting green, climbing structure, performance stage and a Phoenix Suns basketball clubhouse.

The Playground is open to patients and healthy brothers and sisters, only when they are with an adult.

    Children's Garden

The Children's Garden is outside the first floor of the East Building, near the Surgery Waiting area and Meditation Chapel. The Garden offers a relaxing area for patients and families to enjoy the outdoors. An adult must be with children when visiting the Garden.

    Peace Room

Built at the suggestion of a former patient, the Peace Room is a soundproof place where kids can find privacy. The Peace Room provides a refreshing break for Hospital stress with its large wall screen patients may choose from a variety of outdoor scenes and soothing sounds. Visits are limited to 10 minutes. Check with your child's nurse about visiting the Peace Room.
