The Security Services department at Phoenix Children’s is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Specially trained officers are at the hospital to provide a safe environment for our patients, families, visitors and staff.

How Security Can Help

You’ll recognize security officers at Phoenix Children’s by their uniform. They wear black shirts, sweaters and jackets with khaki tactical pants and a security identification badge. They monitor and manage hospital access, keep the peace, and safeguard patients and everyone else in the hospital.

A security officer can also provide general assistance and escorts around the hospital or to your vehicle.
