  4. Our UnitedHealthcare Contract Is Set To Expire In 2026: What Families Should Know During Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment Checklist for Arizona Families

Open Enrollment Checklist Graphic for PDF

Phoenix Children’s and United Healthcare are currently in discussions regarding a new agreement. While our current contract remains active through May 31, 2026, Phoenix Children’s has created a helpful Open Enrollment Checklist for Arizona Families.

Children’s healthcare needs differ from those of adults. A single sports injury, for example, can involve a chain of care including imaging, potential outpatient surgery, physical therapy and follow-up visits.

Consider your family’s immediate needs and anticipate the potential for the unexpected or long-term conditions. When evaluating health plan options, families should keep several important factors in mind.
