PHOENIX [September 23, 2026] - Phoenix Children’s reached new agreements with United Healthcare and Aetna during summer 2026, preserving uninterrupted in-network access to Phoenix Children’s care for participating members.
The new two-year United Healthcare agreement keeps Phoenix Children’s doctors and hospitals in United Healthcare’s network through May 31, 2028. The agreement was reached before the previous contracts expired, so patients and families experienced no lapse in in-network access.
Phoenix Children’s also finalized a new multiyear agreement with Aetna. Participating Aetna members continued to have in-network access to Phoenix Children’s throughout the process.
Both agreements support continued access to the Phoenix Children’s doctors, hospitals and services families know and trust. They also reflect the health system’s commitment to protecting access to pediatric care while responsibly supporting its ability to serve Arizona’s children and families for years to come.
