Aaron R. Brussels, MD

Aaron Brussels, MD, is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Phoenix Children's. He provides children of all ages with anesthesia and sedation for surgery and procedures, in addition to pain management and point-of-care ultrasound.

After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Brussels graduated with his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. He completed his medical internship and a residency in anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, as well as a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in California.

Dr. Brussels is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesiology, the American Medical Association and the Arizona Medical Association. He has published research in peer-reviewed publications including Seminars in Pediatric Surgery and has presented at annual meetings of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society of Pediatric Anesthesiology.

Dr. Brussels enjoys hiking, dining and spending time with his family.
