About Adrien M. Winning, PhD
Adrien Winning, PhD, is a pediatric psychologist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Winning has a strong background in serving children with complex medical needs, as well as their families. She provides psychosocial support to children receiving inpatient and outpatient treatment across the illness continuum at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
Dr. Winning earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and psychology from The Ohio State University, before earning her master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She completed her predoctoral residency in behavioral medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and postdoctoral training in pediatric psychology at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
In addition to providing clinical care, Dr. Winning is an assistant professor at University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. She is also engaged in research projects aimed at enhancing family well-being and developmental outcomes for children with central nervous system conditions. Her research includes partnering with families to develop behavioral interventions and systems-level solutions to promote the best outcomes for all children.
When not at work, Dr. Winning enjoys spending time outside with her family, hiking and trying new restaurants in the Phoenix area.
