About Ali N. Bazzi, DO
Ali Bazzi, DO, is a pediatric anesthesiologist who provides a full range of anesthesia and sedation services for children who need surgery or medical procedures, in addition to perioperative care and pain management.
After completing his undergraduate degree in human biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Bazzi earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine also in East Lansing. He completed an anesthesiology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in Los Angeles.
Dr. Bazzi is certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiologists. He is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and has completed the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Dr. Bazzi is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia.
Knowing the importance of advancing his field through research and education, Dr. Bazzi has presented at regional and national professional conferences, including the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia Conference, the American Society of Anesthesiology and the Midwest Anesthesia Regional Conference.
In his free time, Dr. Bazzi enjoys working out, hiking, playing sports and video games.
