While volunteering in a hospital's emergency room during college, Alok Kothari, MD, saw the impact that his love for science and medicine could make in children's lives. "Seeing the nurses, doctors and staff work to care for some of the sickest patients reaffirmed my decision to go into medicine," Dr. Kothari says.

As a specialist in solid tumor oncology, Dr. Kothari believes every patient's situation is unique. He approaches patient care with a combination of knowledge, expertise and experience, providing the best-known treatment for each child.
