About Andrea L. Buenrostro, MD, MPH
Andrea L. Buenrostro, MD, MPH, FAAP, is a pediatrician at Phoenix Children's Pediatrics. Dr. Buenrostro provides children of all ages with comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child visits, developmental screenings, routine immunizations and evaluation of common childhood illnesses.
After earning her bachelor's degree from the University of California Irvine, in Irvine, California, Dr. Buenrostro earned her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She completed her pediatric residency at Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Dr. Buenrostro also holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Education and Promotion from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles.
Dr. Buenrostro is board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics. She previously co-authored a clinical research paper published in Consultant360.
Outside of work, Dr. Buenrostro enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling and exploring new places and restaurants. She also makes time for outdoor activities when possible.
