About Andrew T. Miller, MD

Andrew Miller, MD, is a pediatric anesthesiologist. He provides safe and effective anesthesia services for children undergoing surgery or procedures requiring pain management. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Miller is an assistant clinical professor at Creighton University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics in Omaha, Nebraska, and clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology in Phoenix.

Dr. Miller joined Phoenix Children's after completing his fellowship training to be part of a rapidly growing pediatric health center.

After earning his bachelor's degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, Dr. Miller earned his medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago. He completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Miller understands the importance of research in advancing evidence-based anesthesia care. He has presented his work at various conferences and continues teaching and mentoring medical students and future anesthesiologists.

The goal of Dr. Miller's family-focused practice is to ensure positive experiences and exceptional quality of care for all patients and families. He strongly emphasizes compassion and well-being in all his patient interactions.

When Dr. Miller is away from work, he prioritizes spending time with his family. He enjoys cycling, gardening and flying single-engine aircraft.
