Pediatrician Angela Tin Mee Wong, MD, was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She credits her uncle - an ear, nose and throat specialist who thoroughly enjoyed his work - with inspiring her to become a doctor.

Dr. Wong received both her undergraduate and medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her residency training at Phoenix Children's, and she has been practicing pediatrics since 1990.

Dr. Wong focuses on helping her patients grow into healthy, happy and caring individuals. She is a strong advocate for her patients and believes a positive attitude helps every situation. She's passionate about making a difference in their lives.

"Children are genuinely happy. It's so rewarding to watch them grow and become adults," she says.

When she's not helping patients, Dr. Wong enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys traveling, fine dining and watching cooking shows.
