Anjali B. Nayak, MD, is a pediatric nephrologist specializing in chronic kidney disease and kidney transplantation. With empathy and evidence-based care as her cornerstones, Dr. Nayak focuses on being accessible to her patients and providing thorough, compassionate and responsive care.

Dr. Nayak always had an interest in the biological sciences and wanted to be a physician for as long as she can remember. The kidney's complexity drew her to nephrology. "I love our ability to give children with chronic kidney disease a chance at leading happy, healthy lives." She appreciates the work philosophy of the team at Phoenix Children's and the patient-centered care they offer.

In her free time, Dr. Nayak enjoys hanging out with her husband, kids and their goldendoodle. A self-described "outdoorsy" family, they love hiking, biking and traveling.
