About Austin B. Cooper, DO
Austin Cooper, DO, is a hospitalist in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) at Phoenix Children's. As part of the cardiovascular ICU team, Dr. Cooper provides skilled, compassionate care for children with complex heart conditions.
Dr. Cooper earned his medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He did his pediatric residency at Phoenix Children's, where he received advanced training in diagnosing and managing a wide range of pediatric illnesses.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Cooper enjoys camping, hiking and fishing with his family. He's a proud dad who loves watching his kids discover their passions and interests.
