After 8 years of working as a bedside nurse on a hematology-oncology and bone marrow transplant unit, Christy returned to school to achieve a Master in Nursing Education with a focus in Pediatrics. Continuing to care for children with cancer and their families, she is currently practicing as inpatient PNP on the Hematology-Oncology unit at PCH. With an interest in high risk leukemia and lymphoma, Christy strives daily to help family transition and navigate through the frequent admissions and complications that occur during a child's treatment.
