About Danielle K. Sebbens, PNP
Danielle (Dani) Sebbens, APRN, is an advanced practice nurse specializing in pediatric critical care. Her grandfather's respect and admiration for nurses inspired Dani's decision to pursue a nursing career. She remembers he called her grandmother's home health nurses his "angels on earth."
Wanting to have a more significant impact on pediatric healthcare motivated Dani to continue her education and become an advanced practice nurse. Her love for physiology, her attention to detail and children's overall resilience led her to pediatric critical care.
Another nurse, Florence Nightingale, inspires Dani's approach to care. Like Nightingale, known as the founder of modern nursing in the 19th century, Dani believes patients deserve care in a safe environment, promoting health and well-being. She also knows the importance of injury prevention and immunizations for her pediatric patients.
Dani calls Phoenix Children's the "premier provider for pediatric care in Arizona," and she is grateful to be part of the team.
When she's not working, Dani enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. A fan of Pittsburgh sports teams, she loves following the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates and the University of Pittsburgh.
