About David G. Maurer, MD
David G. Maurer, MD, is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Maurer is skilled in a wide range of procedures including general anesthesia during surgery, sedation for invasive and non-invasive procedures, as well as pain management.
After graduating with a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and a master's degree from Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Maurer went on to earn his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Colorado and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Maurer is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia. Outside of work, he enjoys singing and outdoor activities with his family and dogs.
