About Erin M. Thornley, DO
Erin Thornley, DO, specializes in pediatric critical care medicine and was first drawn to the people and culture at Phoenix Children's while completing her post-graduate medical training in pediatrics.
After graduating with an undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada in Reno, Dr. Thornley earned a degree in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. She completed her residency training in pediatrics at Phoenix Children's and her fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Thornley is board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
Dr. Thornley has an interest in basic and translational research with a focus on immune function in critical illness and cancer.
When not caring for her patients, Dr. Thornley enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants and spending time with her dogs.
