Dr. Janiel Pimentel-Vasquez is a Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist. Originally, from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Dr. Pimentel obtained her medical degree at Intec University in Santo Domingo and pursued postgraduate training in pediatrics at Lincoln Medical Center in New York. She completed her Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship training at Phoenix Children's Hospital, where she then joined as Faculty for the Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Division. Her primary research interest involves obesity-related health disparities. She enjoys trying new restaurants, and she loves travel and exploring different parts of the world. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their puppy.
