About Jeffrey M. Vaughn, DO
Dr. Vaughn received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Kirksville, MO, and went on to complete his internship at Memorial Hospital, York, PA. He then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency, also in York, PA, where he trained at Memorial Hospital, York Hospital, Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD, with a pediatric orthopedic rotation at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.
To complete his sub-specialty training, Dr. Vaughn fellowshipped at Children's Hospital, Boston in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine and arthroscopy.
Dr. Vaughn has worked for Phoenix Children's Hospital since August of 2008.
He and his wife Heidi have 6 children. They live in Gilbert, AZ.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a clinic. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The physician was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to our understanding. Never once did our treating physician rush our treatment.
It was our first time to Phoenix Children's Hospital and I was worried that it would be very slow and difficult because of such a busy hospital, but it was very efficient and everyone was very kind. Dr. Vaughn was awesome. He spoke to my child more than to me, which I really appreciated as she is a teenager and helped her understand things by even drawing things out so that she understood what was going on with her body. It was a really good experience and I would definitely recommend Dr. Vaughn and his team.
