Dr. Muhm's family inspired him to go into medicine. He chose to specialize in pediatrics and primary care with an eye to the future. "Children are our hope for the future," he says. "Primary care medicine provides the best hope for a healthy community to thrive today and into tomorrow."

Dr. Muhm believes the academic medicine approach of Phoenix Children's provides patients the best care. He values being part of an institution training the next generation of pediatricians.
