About Jordan M. Schell, MD
Jordan Schell, MD, is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Phoenix Children's. He has clinical expertise in general and regional anesthesia, nerve blocks and ultrasound guided procedures for children and adolescents who need surgery or medical procedures.
Dr. Schell enjoys working with a talented team of physicians at Phoenix Children's, and he appreciates the organization's commitment to high-quality patient care.
Dr. Schell graduated cum laude with his bachelor's degree in psychology and biology from Loyola University in Chicago. He earned his medical degree cum laude from St. George's University School of Medicine in West Indies, Grenada. He completed his graduate medical training in Chicago with a residency at Rush University Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia.
In 2021 Dr. Schell received the Robert D. Dripps Memorial Award, which recognizes an outstanding graduate resident in anesthesiology. While working as an attending physician and faculty member at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Dr. Scholl earned the Outstanding Resident Educator Award. He has presented at Midwest Anesthesia Resident Conferences as well as conferences of the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia.
Dr. Schell spends much of his free time outdoors and enjoys playing golf, tennis and basketball, as well as hiking.
