About Judith A. O'Haver, PhD, RN, CPNP-PC, FAANP, FAAN
Judith O'Haver, PhD, RN, CPNP-PC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology. She takes a family-centered approach to patient care, partnering with children and their families to achieve the best health outcomes. Judy is also passionate about research and uncovering the best evidence to improve healthcare for children.
Caring for a sick family member when she was a teenager inspired Judy to become a nurse. She went back to school to become a nurse practitioner to fill a patient care need. Judy loves how dermatology provides clues to other conditions and enjoys being part of a team of specialists focused on understanding a child's condition.
Judy has called Phoenix Children's home for more than 30 years. "It's all about the kids," she says. "I've had amazing opportunities during my career, caring for patients and their families."
When she's not working, Judith enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking and reading. She also participates in medical missions to help to improve healthcare in underserved areas, one child at a time.
