About Kristen E. Samaddar, MD
Kristen Samaddar, MD, FAAP is the program director of the Pediatric Residency Program Alliance and vice chair of Primary Care, Complex Care and Adolescent Medicine at Phoenix Children's. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Michigan.
Her clinical specializations include breastfeeding, healthy lifestyle promotion and practice improvement. Her career interests include mentoring trainees at all phases of training, promotion of resilience and wellbeing and quality improvement.
Dr. Samaddar seeks to find innovative approaches for learning to provide high value care. She is fluent in Spanish. When not working, she enjoys running, hiking and traveling. She is married and has three children.
