I am so, so grateful for our doctor. First off, she took the time to warm up with our son by interacting with his toys, inviting me and my partner to get up on the table with him, letting him touch her gloves and utensils so he'd be more comfortable, and really taking her time. It brings me to tears when adults are patient and generous with their time with young children like this. The early years are when the brain develops the most, and it's these impressions that help little kids ease into this environment which could otherwise be scary! She acknowledged that breaking the adhesions on my son's penis could be painful and she was wary of potentially traumatizing him by establishing the doctor's office as a place where he'd be in pain. She recommended an easy way for us to take care of the adhesions at home, and was clear about where the red flag would be for us to come back in for treatment, and then explained what numbing and treatment at that point would look like. So clear, easy to understand, and just quality service overall. It's refreshing to experience, after so many horrendous experiences with doctors in the past. I'm so glad we came to Phoenix Children's; Dr. Marilyn deserves all the flowers.
Medical diagnosis really explained to where my daughter and myself were able to comprehend the illness or the situation that was happening with her. Great service. Thank you.
Marilyn is so kind, patient, and engaging. My son was definitely listening to her and she was talking mostly to him which I think is so important! Later that evening I asked my 10 yo son, what were three good things today and he said talking to Marilyn because she was so nice and listened to me!
Great care and very informative.
She was very sweet and gentle with my 9 week old baby!
Marylyn was so patient with my son and made him feel Comfortable. I appreciate her taking the time to explain everything to us and answer all of our questions.
It was an amazing experience! My kids and I loved it!
We came here for a second opinion after having such a bad experience with a provider at Banner. It was a night and day difference with how Dr. Tigges interacted with my baby to make him feel comfortable, how much she educated my spouse and I about the root cause of our baby's situation, and what to expect. Even the scheduler who called us for the surgery was so informative and friendly. I really appreciate that they take their time and it's not rushed.
I really appreciate how the provider explained everything and i really recommend her
Marilyn was so kind, thorough, patient, interactive and professional. I would highly recommend her for compassionate excellent care
Great. They were all very nice and I loved the provider would highly recommend.
I really like Marilyn as she helps with my daughter's care and is sensitive to my need to care for all my children. She makes things easier by allowing telehealth appointments and is encouraging with the changes of seasons.
Thank you for taking the time to discuss all medical concerns with me and my daughter.
Marilyn is great. We have seen her every year since my daughter's surgery in 2017. She is very thorough and truly concerned about her patients' well-being.
Marilyn was a wonderful provider. She is obviously well educated and she put my teenage son at ease.
My experience was great from the checking in process to being discharged. The medical assistant that took us back was very compassionate and reassuring. The provider was very nice and did an amazing job with my baby
The provider, Dr. Tigges and her assistant make a great team. Love to keep them and continue using them for future services.
