About Megan E. Land, MD
Megan Land, MD, is the associate program director of the pediatric critical care medicine fellowship program and clinical assistant professor at Phoenix Children's.
Dr. Land completed her education and early medical training in Houston, earning a bachelor's degree from Rice University and her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center before her internship training in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Land trained as a pediatric resident at the University of Washington in Seattle and as a pediatric critical care fellow at Emory University and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, in Georgia.
Dr. Land is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and critical care. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. As part of her commitment to quality care improvement, Dr. Land serves on several committees at Phoenix Children's that help to improve and optimize services and the delivery of patient care.
In addition to her focus on medical education, Dr. Land has published research in peer-reviewed journals including Clinical Toxicology and the Journal of Child Neurology. Her current research is focused on traumatic brain injury treatment and disparities in the pediatric population.
