About Michael T. Nguyen, MD
Michael Nguyen, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona. Upon graduation, he completed his urology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and pediatric urology fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Mesa and was happy to return after medical school and postgraduate training. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including American Urological Association, the Society for Pediatric Urology and the Society for Fetal Urology.
Dr. Nguyen has been married to his wife for 10 years and they have two boys, 6 and 4-years-old. In his free time, he enjoys teaching his boys sports and playing golf and tennis.
Dr. Nguyen chose urology because he likes the variety of illnesses and problems the team encounters. His favorite part of his job is taking care of his patients and seeing their smiling faces in the office. He enjoys working at Phoenix Children's because he has the opportunity to work with other outstanding providers and staff and finds great reward in working for the Division of Urology at Phoenix Children's; one of the best pediatric urology divisions in the country.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nguyen. Our daughter calls him the nice doctor. Not only has he been the most genuine and kind doctor to us and our daughter, but he has been so thorough on our daughter's health and condition and what was truly needed to be able to get her issues resolved. If we could rate Dr. Nguyen higher than a 10, we hands down would.
