About Mittun C. Patel, MD
Mittun C. Patel, MD, is a pediatric radiologist at Phoenix Children's. He has a clinical interest in fetal imaging, as well as musculoskeletal and vascular imaging, to diagnose a wide range of diseases and disorders that affect children and adolescents.
Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree with honors from The University of Texas at Austin. He graduated with his medical degree from Texas A&M School of Medicine in Bryan, Texas, as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Patel completed his residency training in diagnostic radiology at Texas A&M School of Medicine and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas, and a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Patel also has a certification of added qualification (CAQ) in pediatric radiology. He is a member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology and has been named a Top Doctor by PHOENIX magazine. Dr. Patel has presented at several national and international conferences, including the annual meetings of the Society for Pediatric Radiology and the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his family.
