As a teenager, Morgan R. Stanley, PA-C, played competitive sports, including softball and volleyball. Multiple shoulder injuries and subsequent surgeries ultimately ended her athletic career. But her experience as a patient sparked an interest in a career in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.

"I can easily relate to our sports medicine surgical patients because I went through the experience myself," says Morgan, whose specialties include orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and pediatric fracture management. "I love helping young athletes get back to being active and playing the sports they love."

Morgan enjoys the variety of assisting in the operating room, along with establishing relationships with children, teenagers and their families in the clinic setting. A Phoenix native, she has witnessed the growth of Phoenix Children's over the years.

Outside of work, Morgan spends time traveling, hiking and being outdoors. She and her husband, along with their young daughter, also enjoy cheering on the Arizona Wildcats.
