Natalie Lutz, PNP-PC, is a lead pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology at Phoenix Children's. Natalie works with children and their families to address a broad range of endocrine concerns, including adrenal conditions, diabetes, pediatric obesity and growth, puberty and thyroid disorders. She has a special interest in preventive medicine, healthy lifestyle interventions and evidence-based approaches for reducing childhood obesity.

Natalie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Family Studies from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing in New York City. She is credentialed as a pediatric nurse practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Before transitioning to pediatric endocrinology in 2019, Natalie worked in pediatric primary care in Queens, New York; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and in the East Valley of Arizona. Throughout her career, she has been committed to caring for diverse patient populations, including largely minority and underserved communities. She has lectured on childhood obesity and related comorbidities in Arizona and St. Thomas.

Natalie's scholarly work includes publications on early-onset scoliosis and adrenal insufficiency. She also co-authored an article on pediatric obesity for Contemporary Pediatrics and created a newspaper series in St. Thomas titled Healthy Tips for a Healthy Lifestyle.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, hiking, music and making memories with family and friends.
