The dietitian did a great job encouraging without shaming. Thanks for getting my kid to change some eating habits. It means so much more coming from the doctor (along with the possibility of needing cholesterol meds) than it does coming from mom. Last night they ate seasoned beans in broth, a staple of our family's diet that they have been rejecting for years! This is huge because they had limited their diet so much that feeding them healthy foods has become secondary to just getting them to eat consistently.
