About Raelyn G. Jamison, PNP
Raelyn Jamison, DNP, PNP-AC/PC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology at Phoenix Children's. She provides comprehensive care and medical management, both inpatient and outpatient, for children with diabetes and a wide range of endocrine conditions.
Raelyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. Following seven years as a bedside nurse at Phoenix Children's, Raelyn went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University. She is dual certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care and Primary Care by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the Arizona Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Association.
Raelyn was recognized as a finalist at Phoenix Children's annual Quality Day for her research project focused on reducing blood specimen rejection and improving patient care. Her work was also published in Pediatric Nursing in the article, From Vein to Vial, highlighting strategies to reduce blood specimen rejection and improve laboratory specimen quality.
Outside of work, Raelyn enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading, and traveling. She and her husband are dedicated volunteers at Phoenix Children's and enjoy supporting events such as Toyland throughout the year. Together, they also participate in medical missionary trips, providing healthcare and serving underserved populations.
