About Raquel A. Redtfeldt, MD, FAAOA
Raquel A. Redtfeldt, MD, FAAOA, is a pediatric otolaryngologist and a head and neck surgeon at Phoenix Children's. She has more than 20 years of experience caring for patients with a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions.
Dr. Redtfeldt earned her bachelor's degree with honors from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, before attending the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed an internship in general surgery and residency training in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, as well as Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. Dr. Redtfeldt trained as a surgical fellow in neuro-otology and skull base surgery at The Otology Group at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to her board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Redtfeldt is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Redtfeldt is active in educating medical students, residents and primary care doctors via mentorship, clinical observation and presentations. She has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for more than 10 consecutive years and received the U.S. News & World Report Patients' Top Choice Award in otolaryngology.
In her free time, Dr. Redtfeldt enjoys yoga, hiking, gardening and spending time with her husband and adult children.
