Dr. Hodges is always so helpful and asks good questions and listens really well. She has been really helpful to help my son.

Dr. Hodges is awesome! I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Hodges is amazing! What a great experience- my son looks forward to seeing her, she has been great about communicating what is going on and what they are working on, while respecting his privacy, and had made an enormous difference since he started seeing her. I was at my wits end when we made our first appointment, but she helped us gain the tools and skills we needed!

Dr. Hodges makes it possible for my daughter to go to school and work through all her pain, all her everything. She's given her so many tips and worked on strategies and just given her the confidence to do what she can be at school and even try sports. So I mean, there's nothing else I can say because everything's going to be just great and I appreciate her very much.

I felt heard

Dr. Hodges has been amazing for us this last year. My son doesn't like to talk to people and she finds ways to get him to open up

Dr Hodges is the first specialist that reviewed his file BEFORE the appointment. She was aware of a lot and was able to explain why we should or shouldn't be doing XYZ. She connected with my child, and didn't let his energy stop her and I from talking. I wish she could be his main GI doctor that's how much not only my son connected with her but I. Parents of medically complex children go through a lot and have to watch their child go through alot. Having support instead of judgement is everything. After this appointment I cried tears of joy as I finally felt heard with her and his pediatrician. Thank you Dr Hodges you have given us hope.

Dr. Hodges has been phenomenal with my daughter, helping her not only understand a lot of the medical things going on with her through the GI program, but also helping her to express her thoughts on each possible procedure and help her to make good informed decisions. She's also helped her to address things like dealing with her illness within the school setting, within home, around friends, and has really become someone she can lean on.

Dr. Hodges is an excellent psychologist and is an expert in her field. We feel very lucky to have her at PCH and be able to work with her. She is fabulous at working with children and helping assure and provide effective information and instruction to parents. She is a very valuable to our son's eating disorder progression and improves his quality of life! We love Dr. Hodges' professionalism, kindness, and expertise.
