About Sahana Venkatesh, MD
Sahana Venkatesh, MD, is a pediatric allergy and immunology physician at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Venkatesh is skilled in diagnosing and treating an extensive range of conditions that involve the immune system. She has a special interest in helping children and teens with food allergies, oral immunotherapy, environmental allergies, hives, eczema and asthma.
Dr. Venkatesh graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Kent State University in Ohio and earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. She completed her residency training in internal medicine and served as chief resident at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Venkatesh completed her medical training with a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Venkatesh is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and has presented at their annual meetings. Dr. Venkatesh has also presented at the annual meeting of the Ohio Allergy & Immunology Society.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, traveling, cooking and exercising.
