About Sam Biniazan, DO
Sam Biniazan, DO, is a pediatric critical care medicine specialist. Dr. Biniazan provides an extensive range of treatments and medical interventions for children with critical illnesses admitted to the intensive care units (ICUs) at Phoenix Children's.
After earning his undergraduate from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, Dr. Biniazan graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his medical residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Phoenix Children's, in addition to fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Ohio. He also holds a master's degree in biomedical sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
Dr. Biniazan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Association of Med-Peds Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Biniazan has presented on pediatric ICU quality improvement initiatives at the annual meeting of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Biniazan spends his free time with family and friends enjoying the outdoors hiking, camping, running and snowboarding, as well as playing volleyball and cornhole.
