About Samar M. El-Sharkawy, PA
Samar El-Sharkawy, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant in Allergy and Immunology at Phoenix Children's. Samar has a clinical interest in environmental allergies and food allergies, with specialized training in the treatment of allergies caused by aeroallergen, food, drug and venom exposure. In addition, she helps children manage other atopic conditions such as asthma and eczema, as well as immune disorders.
Samar earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Bioscience/Biotechnology and Global Health from Arizona State University. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Samar is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
In addition to Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, Samar has clinical experience in Primary Care/Family Medicine, and Adult Allergy and Immunology. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI), and the Arizona Allergy & Asthma Society (AAAS).
Samar enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, traveling and trying new foods.
