Dr. Scott D. Willard is a pediatric interventional radiologist at Phoenix Children's. He specializes in vascular access, image-guided procedures and treatment of vascular malformations.

Dr. Willard chooses to practice at Phoenix Children's because he loves improving the health of children, who at this stage in their life should have the most health and happiness to look forward to. Phoenix Children's is heavily integrated into the community and able to provide the specialty care kids deserve.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Dr. Willard completed an internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas. He continued his training with fellowships in pediatric radiology and pediatric interventional radiology at Phoenix Children's.

Dr. Willard is board certified in diagnostic radiology and pediatric radiology. He has professional affiliations with the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology, the Society of Pediatric Radiology and the Society of Interventional Radiology.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Willard is deeply invested in clinical education and research. He serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He's also been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Neuroimmunology, Acta Radiologica and the American Journal of Neuroradiology.

A third generation Arizonan, Dr. Willard enjoys monsoon rains, Arizona sunsets, family and hiking.
