About Susie L. Jannusch, FNP
Susie Jannusch, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in adult congenital cardiology at Phoenix Children's. She delivers inpatient and outpatient care as part of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease team, the only Adult Congenital Heart Association-accredited program in Arizona. Susie provides medical management for adults with congenital heart disease and women with congenital heart disease during pregnancy, as well as advocacy for the congenital heart disease community.
Susie earned her Master of Science in Nursing and a post-graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from DePaul University in Chicago. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
With a clinical focus spanning the full lifespan of congenital cardiac care, Susie guides patients through the transition from pediatric cardiology to adult congenital cardiology, provides specialized management for women with congenital heart disease during pregnancy, and brings a palliative care perspective to her clinical practice, which she considers essential to holistic adult congenital heart disease care.
Susie is an active member of the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA), where she serves on the Medical Advisory Council and the Walk for 1 in 100 Committee.
Outside of work, Susie enjoys time with her family, hitting the trails, practicing yoga, exploring the underwater world through scuba diving, and spoiling for her dogs.
