Suvarna Ashish Mogal, MD, loves getting to know her young patients and their families. As a general pediatrician, she provides child-centered and family-focused care.

Dr. Mogal attended medical school at Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. She completed her residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Mogal enjoys working at Phoenix Children's. The focus on excellent, collaborative and specialized pediatric care aligns perfectly with her own career goals.

"I place a high value on listening to my patients' concerns and providing compassionate care," Dr. Mogal says. "I love the smile and innocence of kids. Being a mom of two, I could never stand to see any child or parent in pain or suffering. My empathy for human emotions and suffering inspired me to pursue a career in medicine."

Outside of work, Dr. Mogal enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
