About Victor Y. Levy, MD

Victor Y. Levy, MD, MSPH, is a neonatal cardiac intensivist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Levy is skilled in caring for newborns who have cardiac conditions and need specialized treatment in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU).

Dr. Levy earned his bachelor's degree in cell and molecular biology and master's degree in public health from Tulane University in New Orleans. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where he also completed his residency training in pediatrics. Dr. Levy went on to train as a fellow in pediatric cardiology and in neonatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Levy is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology and neonatology. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society and the American College of Cardiology. He is the founder and an active board member of the Neonatal Heart Society, where he still holds membership.

Dr. Levy is invested in clinical research and sits on the journal review boards for several medical journals. His findings have been featured in publications including Pediatrics, the World Journal for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery, The Journal of Pediatrics and Current Opinion in Cardiology. He presents at national meetings and conferences such as the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Exhibition, NeoHeart and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) Symposium.

In his free time, Dr. Levy enjoys snow skiing.
